1. Introduction

Plantangle ("we", "our", or "the app") is a plant bioelectric monitoring application developed by galaxyadvisors AG. This privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

2. Information We Collect

Plantangle accesses the following sensors on your device:

• Accelerometer: Motion and movement data
• Light sensor: Ambient light levels
• Microphone: Ambient noise levels only (we do NOT record audio)
• Network: Local WiFi connections to plant sensors

3. How We Use Your Data

All sensor data is processed locally on your device to:

• Calculate correlation between your biometrics and plant bioelectric signals
• Generate happiness and energy predictions using on-device machine learning
• Display real-time visualizations of plant-human entanglement
• Connect to local plant sensor hardware on your WiFi network

4. Data Storage

Session data may be stored locally on your device in CSV format. This data includes timestamps, sensor readings, and plant voltage measurements. You can view, export, or delete this data at any time through the Data Repository screen in the app.

5. Data Sharing

We do NOT:

• Transmit your personal data to external servers
• Share your data with third parties
• Use your data for advertising
• Store your data in the cloud
• Record or transmit audio from your microphone

All data processing occurs locally on your device and local network. No data leaves your personal devices.

6. Local Network Access

Plantangle connects to ESP32-based plant sensors on your local WiFi network using WebSocket and HTTP protocols. These connections are:

• Limited to your local network only
• Used solely to receive plant bioelectric data
• Not routed through any external servers

7. Permissions

The app requests the following permissions:

• Microphone: To measure ambient noise levels (not to record audio)
• Local Network: To connect to plant sensors on your WiFi
• Motion Sensors: To detect movement and activity

8. Children's Privacy

Plantangle is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access all data stored by the app (via Data Repository)
• Export your data as CSV files
• Delete all stored data
• Revoke sensor permissions at any time
• Uninstall the app and remove all local data
